Your dog has a tick on his skin and you don't have a pliers to remove it?
No need to run to the vet to treat your dog.
There is a simple trick to remove the tick without pliers.
The trick is to apply a drop of liquid soap to a piece of cotton and dab the tick with:
1. Apply a drop of liquid soap to a piece of cotton.
2. Gently dab the tick with the piece of cotton.
3. After a few seconds, the tick will detach on its own and will be stuck in the piece of cotton.
There you go, you have successfully removed this nasty tick from your beloved pooch :-)
Now you know how to remove a tick from a dog without tweezers. Handy, isn't it?
And no need for vinegar here! And it also works to remove a tick from a cat without a hook.
Warning: readers have pointed out to us that we should avoid touching the tick. Why ? Because the tick risks regurgitating pathogenic bacteria that it may have in it. The safest thing is to use a special tick tweezer that we are talking about here.
If you dab the tick with the piece of cotton, do so as gently as possible so as not to compress the tick's abdomen and thus minimize the risk of saliva regurgitation.
