The day before yesterday we already showed you a sneak peek of the transport of the super cute red panda that arrived in the GaiaZOO. Yesterday GaiaZOO opened the red panda enclosure in the 'Taiga' area. The red pandas share their enclosure with muntjacs. GaiaZOO houses a male group of red pandas. Two more males will arrive in the second half of this year. Within zoos, red pandas are part of a breeding program (EEP) for highly endangered species.
