Steve Greig loves dogs!

Unfortunately, he lost his four-legged friend a few months ago.

And he had a hard time getting over it...

He then decided to offer a good life to another dog, but not just any dog.

He went to the shelter closest to his home to adopt the “least adoptable” senior dog.

Indeed, old dogs are often neglected during adoptions because people prefer to take a young dog.

Today Steve adopted the 10 oldest dogs in the shelter.

His Instagram account is exploding with love messages from his 773,000 subscribers.

Every day Steve wakes up at 5am to make breakfast for his big family. Most dogs have different diets.

His schedule is punctuated by walks in the park, vet appointments... and lots of love and hugs.

Steve also has a pig called Bikini, as well as 2 ducks, pigeons, cats and a few chickens.

At the moment, he has no more room for pets, but he plans to adopt other senior dogs in the future. Because after all, love has no age!

In France too, old animals in shelters are much less likely to be adopted. They often end their old age in a cage and in promiscuity which does not always suit them.

"Their fragile health is likely to lead to costs that adopters wish to avoid" explains the President of the SOS Vieux Chiens association. The SPA even has an "Operation Doyens" program. Find out here.
