Rabbits, chickens, parakeets, fish, dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters or other nice pets have a chance to win the title of 'The Cutest Pet in the Netherlands' at 'Ekdom in the Morning' this year. Radio 10-Dj and animal lover Gerard Ekdom calls on listeners with nice pets to join his search for the nicest pet in our country. The animal does not have to be beautiful or smart, as long as he or she is nice. In addition to an honorable title, the winner will also receive a portrait shoot on location and a portrait photo. The search for 'The Cutest Pet in the Netherlands' is a campaign in collaboration with Purina and can be followed for the next two weeks during the morning show 'Ekdom in de Morgen' on Radio 10.
Radio 10-dj Gerard Ekdom:“We're going big. All pets, from large to small, can participate in our election. Cats, lizards, parrots, guinea pigs or stick insects, we let ourselves be surprised. It's going to be a great quest!"
Listeners with a nice pet can register this from today until Sunday 26 September 13.00 by sending in a photo or video of their animal friend and accompanying motivation via radio10.nl. The nominees will be announced on Monday 27 September. From that moment on, you can vote for them until Monday, October 4, 8 a.m. On the same day, Animal Day, is the grand finale during 'Ekdom in the Morning' and it becomes clear which animal can call itself 'The Cutest Pet in the Netherlands'.
