With the new Fairpup app that the Royal Dog Protection Agency has just launched, you can easily check whether the puppy you want to buy is from a reliable breeder. Many breeders see a puppy as a salable product, which means that there can be all kinds of adverse consequences (and costs) after purchasing your puppy. For example, you can check whether the mother dog is present with the puppies, the earliest age at which the puppy can come along, and whether the puppy is chipped, registered, dewormed and vaccinated. So you can use the app to do the so-called Fairpup check to see whether the puppy comes from a seller who has done everything possible to ensure that the puppy gets the fairest possible start.
