On December 8, 9 and 10, almost 10,000 dogs with about 25,000 owners and visitors from all over the world will gather in the Amsterdam Rai for the dog event in the Netherlands:Hond2017. In addition to the Holland Cup and Amsterdam Winner Show dog shows, the event consists of an extensive exhibition area and educational program with workshops, demonstrations and competitions.
The event offers a wide variety of fun activities for dogs and families, in which 'loving dogs' is central. Visitors are introduced to various dog sports such as agility, hoopers and dog dance during interactive workshops. There are also various daily demonstrations of 'dogs with a job', such as guide dogs and police dogs. Visitors are walking through a dog encyclopedia that has come to life:from the Australian Terrier to the Swiss White Sheepdog, they are all present. In the exhibition area, visitors will find the newest, nicest and most beautiful dog products. New this year are the elections “Most beautiful guide dog in the Netherlands” and “Best dog stylist in the Netherlands”. All this makes Hond2017 a complete, educational and above all enjoyable day out for families and dog lovers.
