After the great success of the first search for the nicest dog in the Netherlands, Radio 10-dj Gerard Ekdom is again this year looking for a dog that deserves this medal. All owners in the Netherlands can register their dog and have a chance to become the successor of labradoodle Pieter. The quest of dog friend Ekdom starts today and on September 18 it will be announced which four-legged friend is the nicest, funniest, most beautiful, smartest, in short:nicest in the Netherlands.

Listeners with a nice dog can register this from today until Sunday 13 September by sending in a photo or video of their four-legged friend and accompanying motivation via radio10.nl. A professional jury, led by Martin Gaus, will then consider the entries, after which a shortlist of the five nicest dogs will be announced on Monday 14 September. You can vote for them again until September 18, 08.30 am. The same day, during 'Ekdom in de Morgen', it will become clear which dog will run away with the title 'The Cutest Dog of the Netherlands', the accompanying 'brokaal' and free dog food for a year.
The search for 'The Cutest Dog in the Netherlands' can be followed on Radio 10 from Monday 7 September to Friday 18 September.
